Today's ClubOur Rotaract club is very much based around social activities, we also undertake community, charity and personal development. Our members mainly live or work in the Southampton area. To give you a bit more of a background about the club, we are a volunteer group who organise our own charity events i.e. quizzes, parties, stalls at local open days or outdoor things like market fairs and shows, we organise social events based on what members like to do (we are always open to suggestions) and and also help out with Rotary charity events, who, in turn, give support back to our events. On the first and third Monday of the month a meeting is held in a Southampton pub - social activities and fundraising activities are selected at these meetings. We also attend events organised by other Rotaract groups and Rotary events If you like what we show you within these pages and are aged between 18 and 30 you can contact us using the details below. More details about membership is given in the membership page. HistoryThe Rotaract Club of Southampton was created in 1974. We were formed as part of a world wide service project by Rotary International which was started in 1968. It's primary objective is to promote leadership, responsible citizenship and to encourage high ethical standards in all areas of life.
